Beacon Hill SC
Beacon Hill is a neighborhood of Boston and the namesake of one of the oldest teams in the America League: Beacon Hill SC. The team plays its games in the West End Grounds near Beacon Hill, Boston and is known as the Gas Lamps. The logo itself is a Glass Lamp featuring a BH lockup, an old timey soccer ball, and a depiction of the Boston skyline, from the late 1800's. Having 11 Premier championships along with 7 US Open Cups makes Beacon Hill the most successful team in the entire country. The team originally was owned by a rich ship maker who placed the team in Beacon Hill to attract talented immigrants who settled on the north slope of Beacon Hill. Beacon Hill has been in the Premier League most of its existence with their best period being in the late 80s when they won 3 straight championships and 3 straight Open Cups led by former Liverpool legend Ian Rush. Their primary rivals are local clubs Charlestown and Southie, while they have a very heated rivalry with New York United as well. The team uniforms are a mix of retro and modern elements. Traditional vertical stripes end with a halftone gradient. The collared shirts also have gold piping. Navy is the primary kit and the team goes to all white for clashes.
