Newark Bulldogs
The Newark Bulldogs are also one of the original teams in America League and had some early successes. They won 4 straight championships in the early 20s along with Open Cups 1930 and 1946. Their home pitch is at Kearny Stadium north of downtown Newark. While their early years were spent in the Premier League, most of their history has been spent in America One. Their biggest rivals are actually New York United, not fellow garden state team Camden County. Their badge features a bulldog face inside of a shield with a bold "NEWARK" text above. The uniforms feature the same bold typeface as "stripes" across the jersey. Their primary kit is silver while the change kits are stark white.
